Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise

The Chicago Architecture Foundation River Cruise is a must for out-of-towners and Chicagoans alike. CAF-certified volunteer tour guides interpret more than 50 buildings along the Chicago River. You’ll find out how Chicago grew from a small settlement into one of the world’s largest cities in less than 100 years. In 90 minutes, get the real story on Chicago architecture and its history.

Location: The tour departs from the Southeast corner of the Michigan Avenue Bridge at Wacker Drive. Look for the blue awning marking the stairway entrance. This is a very easy 15-20 minute walk from the Sofitel Chicago Water or you can also take a cab or uber.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received on or before May 19, 2017 will be assessed a $100 administrative fee per registrant. No refunds will be given after this date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing by emailing meetings@abc.org
